On August 28, the 17th Summer Paralympic Games will open in Paris.
The Prime Minister presented the national flag to the national team members Berik Izmagambetov and Sevda Aliyeva, who defended the country’s honor. 44 Kazakh athletes will compete in nine events at the flagship competition in Paris.
Overall, the country has built the infrastructure needed to develop Paralympic sports and opened newly equipped sports stadiums. There is a dedicated training center, 15 sports clubs, 3 schools and a sports development agency. Support programs have been launched and a team of trainers has been trained.
