Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s press office said the president strongly condemned the Chinese air force’s actions in the Scarborough Islands in the South China Sea as “unjust, illegal and reckless.”
“It is truly disturbing that our airspace is experiencing disturbances just as our waters are beginning to calm down,” the Presidential Communications Office said in a statement on the X platform.
