Four people have been arrested following a violent clash between controversial religious leader Paseka “Pastor Mboro” Motsoeneng and staff at Matsediso Primary School in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, police said on Tuesday.
News24 learnt that Motso Neng was among those arrested but police would not confirm this until the accused appeared in court.
News24 further learnt that police have seized the weapon used in the incident.

Police spokesman Colonel Noxolo Kweza confirmed that the four were arrested on Monday night and are expected to be The trial will begin at the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court soon.
“One of the suspects was arrested for assaulting the police chief of Katlehong North police station when a group of people were outside the police station demanding the disposal of a local pastor,” Kwaza said.
The four face charges of assault, reckless use of a firearm endangering life and property, providing unregistered security services, malicious damage to property and intimidation.

“According to the law, if one partner dies, the other partner must have full custody of the children, especially when they are minors,” Mozonin claimed.
Gauteng MP for Education, Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation Matome Chiloane condemned the incident.
Chiloane said psychosocial support has been provided to teachers and students affected by the incident.
The Electoral Commission has vowed that such acts of violence and intimidation will not be tolerated in Gauteng schools.
“The department is committed to ensuring that this matter is dealt with fairly,” he said.
