Funeral services for the Rev. Ernest Nathaniel Williams, 78, known as “Unca Earnest,” of Alexander Avenue, Nassau Village, formerly of Wood Key Abaco, died at his residence on Sunday, February 16. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Zion Baptist Church, East and Shirley Streets. The Rev. Elon McIntosh will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Washington Williams and other associate pastors, with burial to follow in the Nassau Street West Cemetery.

He will be missed by his wife Betty Williams and three daughters Teruna (Sheena) Sands, Tamika Adderley and Valderline Gervias. One son Elkin Barr, one adopted son Dr. Charles Clarke, one son-in-law Leander Sands Sr. Grandchildren Leander Jr and Amia Sands, Lynden Bootle Jr, Zyon McIntosh, Leroyanne Sweeting, Terrinique Jones, Oneka’ Gernell and Gervante’ Gervais
