After 15 days of free operation, ticket sales for the Nhan Hai-Hanoi Station train line began today (August 23).
Starting at 7:00 in the morning, at Ren Station, passengers lined up in two lines separated by a fence, waiting at the counter to buy tickets.

The one-way fare for both routes is 8,000 VND/trip, the day ticket is 24,000 VND, the monthly ticket is 200,000 VND, and primary and secondary school students are given priority: 100,000 VND/month.
People are going through the process of signing up for monthly passes.
Ms. Luong Linh, 30, lives in Hoai Duc District. It takes about 15 minutes to get to Nhan Station by bus from her home. “I used to ride a motorcycle to work, but the 20-kilometer journey was quite long and tiring, especially during rush hour or traffic jams. After the experience, I found it convenient to take the train, so I bought a monthly pass. After arriving at Cau Giay Station, I continue walking 20 minutes to work on Lieu Giai Street (Ba Dinh District) as a way to exercise to improve my health,” she said.
During the peak hours between 7am and 8am, Jen Station tends to have more passengers than other stations.

During peak hours, the seats on the train were full, causing many passengers to stand throughout the journey.
Unlike Ren Station, at 8 a.m., at Zhiqiao Station, the last stop of the journey, there were only a few people buying tickets at the ticket counter.
There were no more people queuing in the waiting area.
Many seat compartments are still empty, and it is easy for passengers to choose seats close to large windows and enjoy the scenery on both sides of the road.
“I was very happy when I heard the news of the opening of the subway because the route to work is very convenient, the starting point is close to my home, and the station is next to the company. It feels like a train. Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang, a resident of Cau Giay District, said, “Running is just to serve me.”
Previously, Ms. Trang spent nearly VND2 million per month on taxis to go to work. “Now, with the electric train, I only have to spend VND200,000 per month, which saves a lot of money,” she added.
“I bought a round-trip ticket from Cau Dien to Cau Giay station for VND8,000, and then took a motorbike taxi for about five minutes to go to work. I prefer taking the train to riding a motorbike, so I bought a monthly ticket and will receive it in a few days,” said Trinh Thi Thuy, 23, from Nam Tu Liem district.
