Oumar Bademba Barry, a student of the private school La Fontaine de Kankan, ranked third in the Republic in Experimental Sciences in the single bachelor’s program of 2024, but the young winner has better dreams. On Wednesday, July 24, the day after the results were announced, Bademba Barry met in the playground of his home school to express his joy and then announced that he wanted to become a doctor in the future to save lives, reports Genemartin.com’s correspondent in Kankan County.

When Badenba Barry crossed the threshold of his old school, La Fontaine, he was greeted with cheers and dancing. Friends, supervisors and school officials were delighted with the young winner who had just brought honor to the school.

He ranked third in the Republic in the Bachelor’s degree, something he achieved with great effort. “I am really happy and, most of all, relieved by the success. It was a year full of work and stress, but I am glad that all the hard work paid off. I would like to thank my family and teachers for their support during this time. I am very happy. I started to review with my friends during the holidays. We had clubs, we went to the teacher’s house to review, and when I got home I reviewed everything we had done. This is my secret,” he advised.

For Badenba Bari, his goal is to be the first in the republic in his field. In addition, his current wish is to become a doctor and save lives. He also said that he has received some gifts since the results were announced. “It has always been my dream to rank so high. I wanted to be the first in the republic, but in the end I found myself third. In life, I want to be a great doctor and save lives. This has always been my wish and my parents agree. Since yesterday, I have received many gifts. My mother bought me a computer,” he said.
