The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, today released a video showing its attack on Israeli occupation forces in the Tell Sultan area west of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

The video showed Qassam militants destroying two Tiger personnel carriers, one by firing from the window of a house and the other on the street in a destroyed residential area.

Both operations were carried out at a very short distance of only a few meters.

Qassam militants also attacked a house where Israeli troops were hiding. The video showed Israeli soldiers clearly spotted from the windows and balcony of the house and subsequently bombarded with anti-bunker and anti-personnel TPG canisters.

In the same video, Qassam militants can be seen firing mortar shells at the occupying forces from inside a war-torn house.

“Our fighters, returning from the battlefield, confirmed that they had detonated a tunnel entrance of the Zionist forces that had advanced to this place, which had a pre-installed explosive device, killing and wounding them west of the Al-Hawuzin area, north of the city of Khan Yunis and west of the town of Hamad in the southern Gaza Strip.

“The Qassam Brigades fired a Yassin 105 shell at a Zionist Merkva tank east of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.”

Hezbollah

“In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and glorious resistance, the Islamic Resistance Movement conducted a series of operations against Israeli enemy positions and deployments on the Lebanese-Palestinian border on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, as follows:

“1. After monitoring and tracking the Israeli enemy forces, the Hamas fighters spotted a group of Israeli soldiers moving near the Zarit military camp and fired artillery shells at them.

2. In retaliation for the Israeli enemy’s attack on the Bekaa region, the Tznobar logistics base in the occupied Syrian Golan was hit by Katyusha rockets.
3. At 8:15 a.m., an attack drone struck a target at the Hadrat Yaroun base in direct response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on steadfast villages and safe homes in the south, particularly the town of Beitliv.
4. At 9:30 a.m., the Hadab Yaron site was hit by artillery shells.
5. In response to the enemy’s Israeli offensive on the Bekaa region, the Israeli Air Force launched a number of drones to carry out air attacks on the Northern Corps Reserve Command and the Galilee Division Logistics Base in Amiyad, carrying out precision strikes on the command post and positions where officers and soldiers were stationed.
6. After tracking and monitoring enemy forces at Abbasiyah, an Islamic Resistance fighter spotted a Merkava tank and fired a missile at it, hitting it directly.
7. At 1420 hours, the Ramim military camp (the battalion command post currently occupied by Golani Brigade troops) came under heavy fire from Katyusha rockets in retaliation for an attack and assassination by Israeli enemy forces in the town of Betliv.
8. At 1445 hours, the Israeli enemy position at Mizgaf Am was hit by a rocket attack.
9. At 14:45, the Malikiya position was attacked by artillery shells.
10. At 1750 hours, the surveillance equipment at the Birkat Risha location came under direct attack from appropriate weapons.
11. At 18:35, the Zarit barracks was attacked by an artillery shell and hit directly.
12. At 19:10, the Ramot Naftali military camp came under heavy attack from Katyusha rockets, which directly hit it.
13. At 21:40, Israeli enemy artillery positions in Zaura were attacked by rocket fire and received a direct hit.
