Independent candidate for US President Robert Kennedy Jr. may decide to give up the election and support Republican nominee Donald Trump.
How it is communicated Vesti.az This was reported by his campaign comrade Nicole Shanahan, according to TASS.
In an interview with the Influence Theory podcast, Shanahan explained that Kennedy Jr. is considering two possible scenarios: continuing to run in the election and creating a new party, which would require at least 5% of the vote to receive funding.
“However, in this scenario, there is a danger that Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz could win because we would distract voters from Trump. Or we could withdraw from the race and unite with Trump and explain to our supporters why we are doing this,” Shanahan added.
The US presidential election will be held on November 5. The race for the top office will include the current Vice President Kamala Harris from the Democratic Party and the former President Donald Trump from the Republican Party.
