major intersections. From Aug. 21 to 23, the NRA will oversee the installation of a dedicated right-turn lane for the Savannah Post Office and a center turn lane from the Post Office to the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

“This important initiative is designed to enhance road safety near Savannah Elementary School, an area with heavy traffic and a critical thoroughfare for students, parents and the community at large,” the NRA said in a news release. “Drivers are reminded to drive with caution and pay close attention to all signs and instructions provided by road crews.”

The NRA strongly recommends that all commuters use the East-West Main Road, which has now been expanded to two east-west lanes.

“The NRA is committed to improving road safety in the Cayman Islands and thanks the community for their patience and cooperation as we make these important improvements,” the agency said.
