The Nintendo Museum officially opened on October 2nd. It is located in Uji City, Kyoto, and was renovated from an old factory building built in 1969. Tickets for October and November are now available for reservation. The adult ticket price is 3,300 yen (about HK$177). Registration for tickets starts today and ends on August 31st. Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendo’s chief game designer and representative director, personally filmed a video to lead fans on a tour (photo). Many classic Nintendo products are on display, including the first Japanese Hanafuda produced when it was founded in 1889, as well as a series of game console products, such as Game Boy and Famicom.
