More heavy rain was expected Sunday for Montreal and other parts of Quebec, which are still recovering from record-breaking rainfall nine days ago.
Environment Canada has issued rainfall warnings for several areas in southwestern Quebec and western Ontario.
The agency predicts up to 30mm of rain will fall from Sunday afternoon into Monday morning, with the possibility of thunderstorms bringing total rainfall to more than 50mm.

Environment Canada said the heavy rainfall could cause flooding in low-lying areas where the remnants of Tropical Storm Debbie, which hit the province earlier this month, have already caused flooding.
A special weather statement for Montreal warned residents to avoid driving on flooded roads.
On August 9, Montreal and several other areas of Quebec received up to 200 mm of rain in 24 hours, causing widespread flooding, power outages and washed out roads.
