Veteran Nigerian movie actor, Francis Duru has expressed grief over the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
The actor made the announcement on Instagram on Thursday, describing Ifeanyi as a “champion” and “lion” who fought valiantly.
He wrote, “My champion! My lion, you fight like a lion. If that’s the way he wants it, so be it, I still consider you loyal.
“Ifene, my champion. I will miss you, son. I will always love you. Rest in peace, son. Rest in peace. Thank God!”

Duru just celebrated Ifeanyi’s 15th birthday in December 2023, so the news came as a surprise to fans and colleagues.
