NIAMEY, August 6 (Xinhua) — Niger’s military government spokesman Amadou Abderaman announced on national television on the 6th that Niger will “immediately” sever diplomatic relations with Ukraine.
He said in a statement the move was because Kiev “supported terrorist groups” and called on the UN Security Council to rule on Ukraine’s “acts of aggression.”
Two days ago, Mali’s transitional government announced the “immediate” severance of diplomatic relations with Ukraine on the grounds that Ukraine admitted its involvement in the aggression against Mali.
