The Secretary General of the European Commission, Maria Pejcinovic Buric, will pay an official visit to Cyprus from 30 June to 2 July. She will be received today, Monday, by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis.
Mrs. Bridge will also meet with Foreign Minister Constantinos Kobo in the morning and will deliver a lecture organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Diplomatic Academy. In the afternoon, he will meet with Parliament Speaker Anita Dimitriou and visit Nicosia City Hall.

A press release from the Presidency noted that during the Christodoulidis-Brich meeting, issues covered, among others, the Council of Europe agenda, the situation in Cyprus and ongoing efforts to restart dialogue, the management of all aspects of the Fourth Interstate Cyprus appeal against Turkey, the status quo of Turkish violations in the besieged city of Famagusta, as well as the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East.
The Secretary General of the European Commission will leave Cyprus on the morning of July 2.
