Enzo Fernandez has been supported by his club teammate Nicolas Jackson amid controversy after he and some of his teammates sang racist chants against France during a video with Argentina. The Senegalese posted a video of the Argentine and a little black boy on his Instagram story, along with a photo of the two.
This act of support from the Blues No. 15 was particularly surprising, especially after several French Chelsea players reacted negatively. Among them, Wesley Fofana expressed his anger on social networks this Tuesday. Former Benfica Lisbon player Enzo Fernandez has since publicly apologized. The London club also announced the launch of an internal investigation to get to the bottom of the incident.
