The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced last Saturday that two astronauts who boarded the Boeing Starliner to the International Space Station in June and have been stranded there ever since will return to Earth on the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft in February next year. The two originally planned to stay at the space station for about a week. NASA emphasized that the current situation is still safe and that there are sufficient preparations for the two to stay at the station. The Boeing Starliner encountered problems such as thruster failure and helium leakage during its launch, which have not yet been satisfactorily resolved, so it is planned to return unmanned in early September.
