A new shipment of Qatari aid, including 55 tons of tents and hygiene products, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development, has arrived by land in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, ready to enter the Gaza Strip in partnership with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization.
The consignment was received by Her Excellency Ms. Lulwah bint Rashid Al Khater, Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
His Excellency is unloading goods at the Hashemite Charity Organization’s warehouse in Jordan.
The arrival of the shipment was witnessed by His Excellency Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, Official Spokesperson and Director of Operational and Consular Affairs at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al-Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar Respectfully addressed to His Excellency Dr. Hussein Shibli, Secretary General of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Hashemite Charity Organization of Jordan.
His Excellency the Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the efforts of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization to facilitate the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
The official spokesperson and director of operations and consular affairs at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Secretary General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization praised Qatar’s role in providing humanitarian aid to Gaza and the existing cooperation between the two countries in providing humanitarian aid to those besieged in the Gaza Strip.
Since October last year, Qatar Charity and the Qatar Red Crescent Society, in partnership with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, have continued to provide humanitarian aid to the Gala Strip.
This aid comes within the framework of the State of Qatar’s support for the brotherly Palestinian people and its full support to them in the difficult humanitarian conditions they are currently facing.
