The General Directorate of Energy, Hydrocarbons and Mines has announced the reference prices for fuels that will come into effect from August 20 to September 2, 2024. This comes as all regions of the country see a reduction.

Premium gas in the central region was $4.21, down $0.05. Regular gas was $4.04, down $0.01, and diesel was $3.59, down $0.10.

In the West, premium gas will cost $4.22, also down $0.05. Regular gas will cost $4.05, down $0.01, and diesel will cost $3.60, down $0.10.

Finally, premium gas in the East will fall $0.06 to $4.25. Regular will be $4.08, down $0.02, while diesel will be $3.64, down $0.10. These new prices reflect a downward trend in fuel, which could ease some costs for drivers across the country.
