GRAC – The day before yesterday, a young man from Bosnia and Herzegovina committed a horrific murder and suicide in Graz. The causes, new witnesses and people in the neighborhood are slowly coming to light.
They told Austrian media that it all looked like something out of a horror movie
“I was in the garden of the pub when I first heard gunshots and a woman screaming,” said a worker at a nearby bar, adding that at first he had no idea what was happening until special forces showed up on their street.
“It’s unthinkable that someone would come into a law firm and kill a member of staff. He could have come into the garden of our bar,” one employee said.
Staff at the Kaiserfeld cafe, which is just metres away, said police quickly evacuated the entire place in less than a minute.
At a nearby bakery, they said customers were really scared because no one knew what was going on. They said it was very unpleasant because they didn’t know if the killer was still at large.
Let us remind you that the young man walked into the lawyer’s office where the victim worked and shot her several times with a legally owned rifle. Then he shot himself in the head. The Austrian police were immediately alerted and the Cobra special forces arrived
This part of the city was immediately cordoned off and a police helicopter flew over the city center. The motive for this bloody crime is still unclear, but it is known that the two were once colleagues, as the young man worked for a while in the same law firm. The termination of the employment contract was allegedly consensual, and the Austrian media is speculating whether a young colleague was the reason for his departure from the law firm.
A police spokesman said that basically, the two were former colleagues and the story of their romance was still at the speculation stage.
By the way, the young man allegedly bought the weapon three days before the murder. It is a weapon belonging to category C, similar to a shorter rifle. He is allegedly born in Austria, but is from Bosnia and Herzegovina. His parents allegedly live abroad.
According to current investigations, the girl was still alive when the ambulance arrived, but despite the doctors’ efforts, she succumbed to her injuries.
