Elián Reyes, a boy of about four years old, died on Tuesday morning after being kicked by a horse in the Santa Paula-Palogrande area of Somotillo municipality, Chinandega department.
The boy, who lived with his grandmother, was rushed to the area health center after being hit, but unfortunately he had no vital signs.
The police have gone to the scene to investigate the case and have ruled out any criminal suspicion.
