New aerial bombardment targets residents east of Tulkarm

An Israeli drone bombed a group of young people in Tulkarm on Saturday afternoon, the second attack on the city since this morning, when a bomb attack on their vehicle killed five young people.

Local sources say at least two people were killed in new airstrikes Tulkarm.

The occupation forces claimed that they had “bombed the militants from the air during the exchange of fire” and that they were on their way to carry out the operation.

This was the second time in six hours that the Israeli army carried out this operation, carrying out air strikes in the area this morning, killing five resistance fighters, including a Qassam leader and another member of the Jihad group.

This morning, Israeli occupying forces attacked the city of Tulkarem for the second time within hours of withdrawing from the city.

Local sources said a large number of occupation forces vehicles, accompanied by two heavy bulldozers, attacked the city from the western and southern axes and headed towards the Tulkarm camp.

She added that the occupation forces deployed vehicles at all entrances to the camp and used snipers on the rooftops of high-rise buildings adjacent to and overlooking the camp, before laying siege to the camp while attacking the suburb of Danaba, adjacent to the camp. Heavy gunfire and the sound of reconnaissance aircraft flying by were heard.

She added that the occupation bulldozers destroyed citizens’ properties, including house walls and vehicles, as they moved towards the camp, especially in the eastern neighborhoods of the city, while they began bulldozing Al-Muqata’a Street, located at the western entrance to the camp.

At dawn today, occupation forces and bulldozers attacked the western part of the city and began bulldozing and destroying streets around the Al-Murabitin Mosque and the Al-Alimi “court” roundabout before withdrawing in the morning.

Meanwhile, five young people were martyred this morning when their vehicle travelling on the Zeta-Atil road north of Tulkarem was bombed by a drone, while occupation vehicles attacked the town of Kafin and destroyed citizens’ property.
