It was also reported that the meeting turned heated due to some serious clashes of opinions.
After the meeting, Minister Prasana Ranatunga said his view that Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe should serve as president again has not changed.
The ministers present at the meeting also said that after the results of the presidential election are announced, candidates from Pohotua will be put forward.
