Israeli intelligence chiefs were in Cairo on Thursday to negotiate a deal to release Gaza hostages, a spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told AFP.
Omar said that David Barnea, the head of Mossad (the foreign intelligence agency), and Ronen Barr, the head of Shin Bet, are currently in Cairo “negotiating a deal to release the hostages.”
