NCDC expands operations; opens branch in Vijayawada

New Delhi: The National Cooperative Development Directorate (NCDC) on Wednesday inaugurated a branch in Vijayawada with the main objective of bringing various state schemes to the doorsteps of cooperatives in the district and nearby areas.

“It is a matter of pride that NCDC has set up a branch in Vijayawada, the administrative headquarters of NTR district, and will ensure unhindered access to financial services of the top money lender to cooperatives in the region,” said Chiranjeev Chaudhary, secretary, Andhra Pradesh Cooperative and Marketing Department while inaugurating the office at AP Markfed Bhavan, Jawahar Auto Nagar, Vijayawada.

He added that cooperatives, especially those in agriculture and related sectors, could work with NCDC officials to develop business plans and benefit from the company’s financial services.

Vamshi Dubasi, Regional Director, NCDC, said that the corporation has been catering to the needs of cooperatives in Andhra Pradesh for a long time and the opening of the branch will further facilitate the availment of its services and enhance the coverage of NCDC services to cooperatives across the state.

Guests present on the occasion included AP Markfed Ltd Managing Director Rahul Pandey, General Manager Adinarayana, and other officials of AP Markfed, APCOB, Sthree Nidhi Federation and other cooperative societies.
