National Commercial Bank Financial Group said its profit rose to $7.39 billion in the third quarter ended June 2024.
In the comparative period ending June 2023, NCBFG earned $4.87 billion.
Chief Financial Officer Malcolm Sadler said it also supported growth in after-tax earnings in the nine months to June.
“The group reported a consolidated net profit of $21.1 billion for the nine months to June 2024, up 79%, or $9.3 billion, on the previous year,” Sadler reported at the company’s investor briefing on Friday morning.
The group’s operating revenue also rose to $28.93 billion for the quarter.
That compares to $28.29 billion in the same period ending June 2023.
