NBTC and PRD plan to digitally upgrade Thai broadcasting
On August 16, 2024, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) and the Public Relations Department (PRD) held a meeting to discuss how to improve broadcasting in the digital age.
The meeting, chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Sayan Sawatsri, focused on the modernization of Radio Thailand and the National Broadcasting Corporation. Public Broadcasting Corporation Director General Sudruetai Lertkasem and officials presented strategies to strengthen content delivery on television, radio and online platforms in an effort to adapt to digital advancements and improve public broadcasting.
