The Netherlands is one of the 29 participating countries in the Zr.Ms. Trop and Defence Diving Team.

After a period of preparation for the naval exercise, the Air Defense Command frigate left Pearl Harbor yesterday. This was for Zr.Ms. Trop and is also part of Pacific Archer 2024. With this, the Netherlands emphasizes the economic importance of free movement around the world.

Military relations

By participating in RIMPAC, the Netherlands strengthens military relations with its allies and cooperation with new allies. In addition, the exercise provides an opportunity to train with these parties in the most severe range of violence.

Sea route safety

Existing and new Rimpac collaborations are aimed at protecting the safety of sea lanes around the world. 40 ships, more than 170 aircraft and land forces from 29 countries are participating. From Europe, in addition to the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France and Italy, Rimpac is also involved. All this shows how special this large-scale naval exercise is.
