French company Naval Group will eventually build four new submarines for the navy if the Chamber of Deputies decides. He agreed to this yesterday. The motion to give the final decision to the new cabinet failed.

The renewal of the Walrus-class submarines has been a topic of discussion since 2016. State Secretary Christoph van der Maat responded enthusiastically to the widespread support for the award decision. “The parliamentary procedure is now complete. I look forward to the sequel with confidence.”
The Ministry of Defence continues to carry out the necessary preparatory work to arrange for the signing of the supply contract with Naval Group.
