Libreville, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The main crux of the celebrations of the 64th anniversary of Gabon’s accession to international sovereignty on Saturday, August 17, 2024: the military parade on the Boulevard Dubois in Libreville. The peculiarity of this operation lies in the slow and rhythmic movements of the Special Intervention Unit of the Republican Guard (GR).

The particularity of this parade lies in the slow and rhythmic steps of members of the Special Intervention Unit of the Republican Guard (GR), indigenous peoples (Pygmies) who act as agents of the Republican Guard, and students of the Libreville Military Academy.
