Tazabek – According to the results of the second quarter of 2024, 20 banks and 7 payment system operators/payment organizations provide services for payments and transfers using QR codes. This is indicated by data from the National Bank.
As part of inter-system integration, by the end of the second quarter of 2024, banks and payment system operators/payment organizations installed 59,300 QR codes at merchants (including in various regions of the Kyrgyz Republic).
In the second quarter of 2024, 9 million 659,600 payments worth 9.9 billion soms were made through the systems of interactive operators.
Compared with the same period in 2023, these figures increased by 36.4 times and 24.9 times respectively.
