Namal Rajapaksa, national organiser of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, has warned the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) and the Tamil people to be wary of politicians who suddenly change their policies to gain votes.
The MP further said that the Tamil people can trust political parties that supported the implementation of the 13th Constitutional Amendment from the beginning and those that opposed it, but be wary of those that change their policies before elections.
The lawmaker said the fact that the political parties that supported the abolition of the presidential system have now changed is a good proof of the duplicity of these parties.
