The men said they were motivated by thinking about these people and what they were planning when Mukah was elected to lead the country for the next seven years.

Many of them, old and young, wore clothes made up of footballs, others wore caps and held placards and flags with the logo of the Rwandan Patriotic Front-Inkotani group.

The central town of Musanze was decorated with red and blue lights on one hand and white, blue and red cloth on the other. People said it was a way of showing that they were happy to welcome their candidate, Paul Kagame.

According to the presidential election schedule of the Republic, the campaign started on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Initially, Musanze District was ahead of other places in the campaign of the candidate of the Inkotani family of the RPF.
