Governor Phil Murphy will be the guest speaker at New Jersey African American Chamber of Commerceof Juneteenth Black Business Fairwill be held June 13 at the Bogota Caixa Center at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck.
Themed “The Journey Continues,” Expo 2024 will be a dynamic, educational and collaborative event focused on entrepreneurship and the economic and cultural empowerment of underperforming communities.

The Juneteenth Expo provides a forum highlighting African American entrepreneurs from all sectors of business, with more than 50 corporations, Black-owned businesses, community partners and government agencies showcasing their products and services in a transformed exhibit space that incorporates the history of Black Wall Street and the remarkable achievements of Black entrepreneurs.
Murphy spoke at the event last year.
John Harmon, the chamber’s founder and CEO, is glad he’s back.
“We are thrilled to have Governor Murphy here, and this is the second year in a row that he has been attending the Juneteenth Black Business Expo, which means a lot,” he said.
“The Governor will join AACCNJ in celebrating Juneteenth and showing support for AACCNJ’s mission as we begin our 17th year of advocacy and building relationships to enhance New Jersey’s competitiveness.
“Our ultimate goal is to work with the Murphy Administration and New Jersey’s private sector to build a transformational partnership based on recognition, focus, intentionality and excellence.”
New Jersey native Malcolm Jenkins, former NFL star and current entrepreneur and philanthropist, will serve as the keynote speaker for the fireside chat with Harmon.
The Black Business Expo will also feature a Health & Wellness Expo presented by major sponsor Hackensack Meridian Health. Major exhibitor Johnson & Johnson will host a pitch competition for exhibiting companies; elite exhibitors include Davis EIS, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Lakeland Bank, Citizens Bank, East West Connections, Valley National Bank and Cross River Bank.
