Ministers who fled the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna party are working to form a new political party by next week, MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage said.
Congressman Mahindananda Aluthgamage said he would form a new political party and support incumbent President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the upcoming presidential election.
The councillor said at a special meeting of the Forum of Heads of Former Local Government Agencies that necessary arrangements have been made.
