NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture will host its annual Summer Youth Employment Program on New Providence and Grand Bahama Island from Monday, July 4 to Friday, July 29, 2022. Young people will be employed as camp assistants (ages 15-17), in the Youth and Culture Apprenticeship Program (ages 15 to 25), or as summer students in our Corporate Internship Program (ages 15 to 25).
The New Providence Island program will only accept online applications, while the Grand Bahama Island program will still use paper applications.
All forms must be completed in full. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applications open today (Monday 23 May) and close on or before Monday 6 June 2022 (if the course is full).
The following required supporting documents must be uploaded/submitted with the application:1. Current passport size photograph;2. Current Police Certificate (18 years and above);3. Copy of National Insurance Card;4. Copy of data page of valid passport, birth certificate or affidavit of registration;5. Copy of College/University ID card (if applicable);6. Copy of all educational certificates and documents (listed in Section 2);7. Personal banking details (Bank name, branch, account number. Please note that it is very important to submit the bank information card otherwise the application will not be accepted. The bank account holder must be the applicant himself. A resume must also be submitted to participate in the corporate placement program.
