Ugandan musician Lil Pazo in a recent statement claimed that no celebrity in Uganda wears the original chain.
Pazo said the chains were all imitations made in China.
“No one in Uganda has the original chain. They all wear knockoffs made in China.” Lil Pazo said on Galaxy TV.
He also pointed out that the price of genuine designer necklaces is too expensive and most Ugandan celebrities cannot afford them.
Pazo further revealed that the average price of the original chain is almost equivalent to the cost of buying a new home.
Such high costs make it nearly impossible for many people to own authentic designer jewelry.
