Áir has just awarded the RAS order to Bakkafrost. MEST installed the system in cooperation with MAT-KULING of Norway.
We are talking about a single system that is built as a completely prefabricated unit, a so-called “plug and play” solution, which also requires little space and energy.
The unit is equipped for mechanical, biological, chemical and disinfectant water remediation.
This is a complete solution where the controls are part of the RAS unit. The shaver is more user friendly with this unit.
RAS units are equipped with the following equipment:
- TRUE FILTERS
- Protein skimmer
- Ozone generator
- Biofiltration (moving bed)
- Degas
- UV filter
- Heat Exchanger
- Felt room:
- Control cabinet
The whole thing is made of plastic (PP and PVC).
MEST delivers RAS system to Bakkafrost
A RAS system has just been delivered to Bakkafrost’s factory in Áir. MEST installed the system in cooperation with MAT-KULING of Norway.
The unit is a prefabricated ‘plug and play’ solution that requires minimal space and energy.
The system is equipped with mechanical, biological, chemical and disinfectant water treatment functions to ensure compliance with the highest environmental standards.
The control system is an integral part of the RAS unit. The daily operation of the system is very user-friendly.
The RAS unit is equipped with the following equipment:
- Drum filter
- Protein skimmer
- Ozone generator
- MBBR filter
- Trickle filter
- UV filter
- Heat Exchanger
- Various sensors:
- Control cabinet
