More than 20 SAS flights cancelled on Tuesday – E24

So far, SAS has cancelled 24 flights to and from some of the country’s largest airports due to the crew strike.

A total of 155 cabin crew are currently on strike, with more than 50 SAS flights cancelled on Monday. On Wednesday, the strike will intensify significantly, with a total of 800 cabin crew members expected to walk off the job.

A total of 24 flights to and from Oslo Gardermoen Airport were cancelled on Tuesday, including 11 departures and 13 arrivals.

Two flights from Bergen, Stavanger and Tromsø on Tuesday have been cancelled, all heading to Oslo. Three flights from Trondheim and one from Bodø have been cancelled. These are also flights heading to Oslo.

This was shown in the NTB statistics at 10pm on Monday.

If the two sides cannot find a solution to the conflict, SAS’s 800 cabin crew will go on strike starting Wednesday. They held an exploratory meeting at Riksmekleren on Monday evening. A total of 155 cabin crew are currently on strike.
