By Political Reporter- Former Zanu PF Redcliff Town Ward 5 councillor and former Mafidhi-Mnangagwa Primary School principal, Chamunorwa Foroma has died.

Foroma died in his sleep at his home in suburban Rutendo on Tuesday morning.

Folma is a prominent spokesperson for Mnangagwa and is known to intimidate opposition members on his behalf.

He served as the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front MP for District 5 between 2013 and 2018.

Before his death, he was transferred from Mafidi-Mnangagwa Primary School to Rutendo Primary School as the principal.

A family member who wished to remain anonymous said: “He got up that day, took a shower and had breakfast as usual. He even wanted to go to work, but his wife insisted that he stay home because his blood pressure was a little high. After being persuaded, he took a nap and never woke up again.”
