Miss Ocean Qiu Yuan and four runners-up celebrate the first anniversary of their coronation

To celebrate the year of their coronation, the top 5 Miss Ocean Vietnam 2023 contestants wore outfits by designers Hoang Minh Ha and An Lee for a diverse fashion photo series. Miss Thuyen and the four runners-up exuded glamour in cobalt blue evening gowns by designer An Lee.

Hoang Minh Ha’s handmade designs bring 5 major style changes. After a year, the beauties’ looks have become more perfect.

Over the past year, they have been frequently seen at events and social functions. Most recently, the top 5 had the opportunity to perform the Ao Dai for designer Vo Viet Chung at the “Ho Chi Minh City Day in Osaka” event in Japan.

During her tenure, Ms. Thu Uyen served as a media ambassador for many projects promoting Vietnam’s tourism and culture, such as: Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week Ambassador, Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival Image Ambassador, 2024 Sea and Land Festival Essence Ambassador She also walked for many designers such as Vo Viet Chung, Hoang Minh Ha, Duc Vincie, etc.

Sharing her journey one year after being crowned, Thu Uyen said that in addition to social activities, she had the opportunity to travel to many places, meet many people, and promote her activities in the fashion field.

This Soc Trang beauty graduated with honors from the Tourism Service Management major at Nan Can Tho University. She recently gained attention for participating in a dating show Paradise Island. She is considered to have a strong personality.

Runner-up Lin Qiaoying wore a handmade tulle dress that was as soft as a feather and highlighted her brown skin. She graduated from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, USA with a degree in finance. After the competition, Lin Qiaoying completed her studies and returned to China to pursue art.
