Miss Lauru, Elsie Polosovai, has been crowned Miss Solomon Islands 2024-2025.
Ms Polosovai was crowned at the Crown Pacific Hotel last night.
Speaking after her coronation, Polosovai said she would do her best to represent the country on the Pacific stage.
“I am honored and humbled to serve as your next Miss Solomon Islands.”
“I humbly accept this role and I will do my best to represent all of us on the Pacific stage and bring the pride of the Solomon Islands with me every step of the way.”
Ms Polosowai also expressed gratitude to her team and sponsors, the Lauru People’s Association, for their support throughout the Miss Solomon Islands pageant.
Miss Lauru took over the crown from former Miss Solomon Islands Tiare Haro.
Polosowai will represent the country at the Miss Pacific Islands pageant in Honiara next year.

Overall winner – Miss Solomon Islands 2024-2025 – Miss Lauru (Elsie Polosovai)
First Runner-up – Miss Tourism (Kerrie Faradatolo)
3rd Runner-up – Miss Coral Sea Resort and Casino (Sharllyma Aruhane)
3rd Runner-up – Miss Tulagi (Jayn Zayniellar Soakai)
4th Place – Miss SICAN ( Azarinna Zolela Stevens )
5th place – Miss Guadalcanal (Ezinma Kausua)
