Saudi Arabia’s nationalisation of professions to take effect in 2024

The 2024 Violations Table issued by the Ministry of Human Resources stipulates the following penalties for violating the Emiratisation decision:

Settlement Assistance Support Program 2024

The Ministry of Human Resources has launched a support package to help private sector institutions implement the Emiratisation Decision 2024, which includes:

  • Support programs to recruit and find suitable workers.
  • Qualification and Training Support Program.
  • Employment and job stability support programs.
  • Support and employment programmes are provided through the Human Resources Development Fund.
  • Priority to benefit from available Emiratisation support programmes.

The list of occupations to be localised in 2024 includes eight jobs in the administrative and secretarial sectors, and the decision was made immediately after the Eid al-Fitr holiday in the Islamic calendar year 1443, which corresponds to the year 2024 AD.
