Ministry of Health announces arrival of ‘blood units’ and ‘hemophilia drugs’ in Gaza Strip

The Ministry of Health announced that our people from the northern governorates donated various types of blood to the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening as part of the “One Blood Donation” campaign organized by the ministry. It took a week in cooperation with the “Rahma” Foundation, which took over the process of transporting and delivering it to the southern governorates.

The ministry also announced the arrival of a batch of medicines for the treatment of hemophilia patients in the Gaza Strip, as part of a batch of blood units that arrived this evening at treatment centres in the southern governorates.

Health Minister Majid Abu Ramadan confirmed that the ministry is doing everything possible to provide support and relief to the people in the Gaza Strip and is working to meet all necessary health needs.

Abu Ramadan praised the citizens of the northern governorates for donating blood for the people of the Gaza Strip, which reflects the determination of our people in the face of Israeli occupation and aggression.

He thanked the Al-Rahma Foundation for its commitment to transferring blood units to treatment centres in the Gaza Strip, commended the Foundation for its efforts and stressed the need to continue working with it to serve the citizens of the Gaza Strip.

Abu Ramadan praised the efforts of blood transfusion service staff and volunteers working around the clock at blood centers and banks under the Ministry of Health.
