The STEM-FD Science Camp, organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in partnership with the Oxford Royal Foundation, started today, July 14-27, at the University of Oxford, UK.
The camp is designed to help students develop skills and discover their passion for science through scientific experiments and applied activities that enhance science, technology, engineering and math skills in an exciting and innovative way.
The camp allows students to learn directly from experts in the field of science and benefit from their valuable knowledge and experience. It also provides a stimulating and enjoyable educational environment that helps to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and enhances language and cultural exchange with other international students who have the same interests.
Participation in this summer camp was prepared in advance, we held meetings with some entities that organize summer camps for students in the UK to review their programs and select the best ones, and held introductory sessions for students and parents to discuss several issues related to the camps.
In this context, the students who participated in the camp expressed their enthusiasm and happiness for the summer camp activities, hoping that this would be an important start for their preparation for college and an opportunity to forge friendships with students from different countries around the world.
They emphasized that they wanted to get the most out of the camp, actively participate in all activities that combine learning and entertainment, and pass on the knowledge and experience they have learned to their colleagues.
