Riyadh (Sanaa) – Today, Minister of Foundations Mohammed Abdulsattar Sayyed and Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Shaikh discussed ways to develop joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries and strengthen relations in the religious sphere.
The two sides also discussed the preparations for the 9th meeting of the Islamic World Foundation and the Conference of Ministers of Islamic Affairs to be held in Mecca tomorrow and the recommendations that the ministers will put forward at this meeting.
Ministers, muftis and heads of Islamic councils from 62 countries around the world, including Syria, participate in the work of the Islamic World Foundation and the Conference of Ministers of Islamic Affairs.
In this context, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the 14th Executive Council Meeting of the Conference of Ministers of Funds and Islamic Affairs in the Islamic World, hosted by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia, was held today. The meeting reviewed the agenda of this session and unanimously approved the agenda of the 9th Conference of Ministers of Funds and Islamic Affairs, which will be held tomorrow for two days.
