The delegation of the Arab Beekeepers Union, headed by Muaz Sobhi Kazim, discussed how to strengthen cooperation between the two sides to develop the beekeeping industry in Arab countries.
During the meeting, Minister Qatana stressed the importance of continuing to develop the beekeeping sector, providing all necessary protection and eliminating diseases faced by bees in Arab countries, and emphasized cooperation between all parties to ensure integration in the beekeeping sector, starting with improving pastures in Arab countries and developing species adapted to different environments, and he called for strengthening long-term coordination.
The head of the Jordanian Special Association of Beekeepers expressed the hope to develop cooperation among Arab beekeepers and benefit from the advanced expertise of the Syrian Ministry of Agriculture to develop beekeeping in the Arab country.
