Aleppo (Sanaa) – Today, Minister of Water Resources Hussein Makhlouf reviewed the actual status of work on some important water projects implemented by the Rural and Urban Water Supply, Sanitation and Land Reclamation Agency in Aleppo Governorate.
The inspection included the Kerm El Dada and Al Salihiye areas, the Cib Gabsha El Sin project in the Eastern Countryside, the Southern Aleppo Plains Irrigation Project, and the first disinfection station in Bab Al Neyrab.
At a meeting with relevant officials from the Governor’s Office, the problems of solving difficulties and requirements in the completion of existing irrigation projects in the eastern and southern rural areas of Aleppo, compliance with technical and contractual conditions and actual conditions were discussed.
Minister Makhlouf noted that a joint committee must be established to fairly manage the distribution of irrigation water and eliminate irregularities in irrigation channels so that water is distributed to all targeted farmlands.
