NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Governor General, the Most Reverend Cynthia Pratt, visited the home of Mrs. Matilda “Millie” Robinson to celebrate her 110th birthday on August 27. The Governor presented Mrs. Robinson with a letter from King Charles III, a letter from the Governor’s Office and a bouquet of flowers.

The oldest known living Bahamian is Matilda “Millie” Rawle-Robinson, who was born on August 19, 1914, in Black Point, Exuma Island, where she cherished the natural beauty and loved fishing.
