The Tunisian leader in mass distribution stands out for its commitment to the effectiveness of its Information Security Management System (ISMS), becoming the first brand in Tunisia and Africa to obtain ISO 27001 certification.
Recognizing the importance of information confidentiality and the expectations of its customers, partners, and employees, Magasin Général chose to implement an ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) to address cybersecurity risks.
ISO 27001 certification is an international reference standard. It allows 360° management of its IT security system by controlling the risks related to information security. The certification confirms the effectiveness of the deployed security system (human, organizational and technical), good governance and control of security-related risks according to international standards and good practices.
This recognition is a testament to the efforts of the Mg team and its partners: Deloitte Tunisia, which provided support during the implementation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), and Tüv Rheinland, the international organization that carried out the certification audit.
Remember, Société Magasin Général is the oldest supermarket chain in Tunisia. It has 100 stores in 23 governorates.
