Only with security and legal certainty can we create the jobs we need,” he said in a statement. In addition, he pointed out that it is essential to increase infrastructure investment and, above all, that we improve the criteria for selecting projects. He pointed out that in the field of infrastructure, technology should be the only criterion that defines which projects are carried out, where, how and where the social and economic benefits are the best. We must promote those projects with the highest return and avoid allocating investments based on political and electoral calculations. The CCE asked the López Obrador government to guarantee market competition, because individual participation in strategic markets such as telecommunications and energy is essential for national competitiveness and prosperity. For business leadership, he said, it is necessary to strengthen human capital. He added that the company was committed to working with the federal and state governments to implement new programs that would seek to get more young people into employment with competent job skills. However, he warned that these programs must go hand in hand with substantial improvements in education services and programs to prepare our young people for the demands of the future.
